Asbestosis loss of appetite
Loss of appetite is also among the common symptoms of asbestosis. A person gradually experiences loss of appetite. His food intake becomes less as the disease advances. This loss of appetite then causes a person to lose weight and become thin. Loss of appetite also makes him/her vulnerable to illness and other ailments. A person also suffers from fatigue feeling of tiredness all the times.
However, loss of appetite is not the only symptom to be aware, the presence of asbestosis is characterized by dyspnea (shortness of breath), persistent dry cough, difficulty breathing, chest tightness, loss of appetite as we said, and clubbing of the fingers (in severe cases).
